R&D Plus are excited to announce we have partnered with the ICP group to supply the ICARUS Bluetooth control systems to Australia and New Zealand. R&D Plus is dedicated to exploring creative and innovative ways to apply the ICARUS system to applications in Australia and New Zealand. Working within the R&D Plus hub on our own concepts and partnering with other organisations to create and deliver these new and innovative ideas using the ICARUS system.
What we believe sets the ICARUS Bluetooth control system apart from the rest is the flexibility. This device can be used in any application where there is a 9 – 36Vdc supply including Hydraulic, Numatics and Electrical systems. The ICARUS also has a 2 amp output which in applications used to control high current solenoids for example, it can be used without relays adding to the simplicity of the device. We also found that being able to program the ICARUS on the go using a smart phone was beneficial, this would enable us to change outputs from a button to switch, add delays and timers to outputs wherever and whenever required.
When needing more outputs pairing two R820s together using the 2XR modules gives you 16 outputs. All 16 outputs being programmed by your smart phone and controlled by a TM600 transmitter. By far the best feature we found was being able to use your smartphone or transmitter depending on your needs, even when the transmitter is primary and becomes lost you always have your smart phone as a backup. We found through customer feedback this is a real cost saver as transmitters can be expensive to replace.
The ICARUS system has now been approved in Australia and New Zealand with the RCMA tick of approval for piece of mind. With the imminent future approaching from big companies enforcing the elimination of live work. Now is the perfect time to consider updating existing equipment to a Bluetooth control system. Using and installing the ICARUS system has never been easier.
In the situation where there is potential for improvement/modernisation that has been identified by an organisation using the ICARAUS system. R&D will work side by side to explore, create, and deliver the improvements. Here at R&D we believe that it is important to explore every opportunity to improve safety and efficiency wherever possible to enable better results for our customers. With over 40 years’ experience in a wide range of industries including Agriculture, Hydraulic, Numatics and Mining, R&D realises and understands the opportunities that exist and are excited to facilitate in the discovery of new ideas.
Given the versatility and that the possibilities are endless using the ICARUS Bluetooth control system R&D has setup a webstore, this will enable anyone to automate their ideas, Check out Video in below link.
